A traditional Shotokan Karate Dojo
Thank you for visiting Shotokan Tiger Martial Arts Dojo. We are a
traditional Karate school offering training in the Japanese style Shotokan Karate.
Our primary goal is to provide the best, most affordable karate instruction to our
local community.
Our classes are small, and that makes for excellent communication and attention
to our students from our highly qualified instructors.
Please stop by and visit or call us. We are confident that you will see that the
instruction we provide is second to none.

Our Syllabus:
We follow a traditional Shotokan Syllabus - Including: Kihon (basics), Kata (forms) Kumite
(sparring) and Weapons (Kobudo) training (when approved by our Instructors).
Good health and fitness are natural results of regular and correct exercise. Karate training
provides that through regular, systematic, conscientious training which is also the key to
success in Karate. A person’s size, sex and muscular strength are not important. Everyone
can benefit from Karate training.
Generally, age is also of no concern in Karate training. Whether you are 4 or 74, we believe
that anyone can learn Karate and be successful at it....one step at a time. Of course as with
any physical activity there are things to consider and if you have any concerns it is always
prudent to let your doctor know of your intent to begin martial arts
training, regardless of age.
